This 8-day Uganda safari is a rich journey through the country’s most iconic landscapes, wildlife habitats, and cultural experiences. Beginning in Kampala, the adventure leads you north to Murchison Falls National Park, where the Nile explodes through a narrow gorge, offering dramatic views and thrilling game drives. Along the way, you’ll encounter rhinos on foot at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, adding a rare and memorable touch to your wildlife experience. The journey continues west through scenic countryside to Fort Portal and onward to the misty of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, where the highlight awaits, an intimate, once-in-a-lifetime encounter with endangered mountain gorillas. Cultural immersion with the Batwa people adds depth to the experience, connecting you to Uganda’s rich heritage. Returning via the Equator, the safari wraps up with a visit to eastern Uganda, exploring waterfalls, industry, and the legendary Source of the Nile in Jinja. Itinerary
DAY 1 - Drive to Murchison Falls NP via Zziwa Rhino Ranch & Top of the Falls viewing
You will be picked up from your hotel in Kampala and transferred to Murchison Falls National Park via Zziwa Ranch for a Rhino Tracking experience. You will proceed to enter the Park through the main Kichumbayobo Gate and visit the Top of the magnificent Murchison Falls before continuing to arrive at your lodge. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
DAY 2 - Early Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Safari along the Nile River.
After an early breakfast, you will set off for an early morning game drive; you will have a better chance to see the cats like the Lion, Leopard and other predators like the Hyena and Jackal. The game drive will last 3 to 4 hours and some of the animals you may be able to see include the African Elephant, Uganda Kob, Giraffe, Buffalo, Hartebeest and several bucks. You will then return to your lodge for lunch. At 2pm, you will take a Boat ride to the bottom of the Falls. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
DAY 3 - Transfer to Fort Portal, Western Uganda
You will drive through the beautiful countryside enjoying the scenery and arrive in Fort Portal in late afternoon. This evening, depending on energy levels, you may visit the Amabeere ga Nyina Mwiru Cultural site. Overnight at your lodge.
DAY 4 - Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Southwestern Uganda
Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
DAY 5 - Gorilla Tracking and Batwa Community Experience
In the morning, you will be driven to Park Headquarters for a briefing by the Rangers before setting off on this once in a lifetime adventure.
Bwindi impenetrable forest also known as the “Place of Darkness” is located in southwestern Uganda on the edge of the western arm of the great Rift Valley where half of the world’s highly endangered Mountain Gorillas live in its jungle. The park is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These gentle giants are one of the most amazing natural beings Uganda has to offer.
A set of rules will be relayed to you by your Ranger Guide before setting off in search for these giant Apes. You are required to adhere to these conservation rules while in this thick tropical rain forest.
After Tracking, you will be transferred back to your lodge to recuperate. In the evening, you will be taken for a Batwa community Experience. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.
DAY 6 - Drive back to Kampala via the Equator for photo moments.

DAY 7 - JINJA-Visit Ssezibwa Falls and Kakira Sugar Corporation
Overnight at your lodge.
DAY 8 - Visit the Source of the Nile and Drive back to Kampala
Overnight at your lodge.
